Overview of Goals and Objectives

Within the unique framework established by the Tradition, we will be able to offer increasingly effective and easily-accessed methods of providing the foundation for all serious seekers to create and live their personal spiritual reality.

With this objective as the beacon that guides us, the Path of the Wise Ones provides Pagan teachings to all who seek them freely in an environment of honoring and celebrating spiritual diversity to facilitate the growth of a new unity among pagans worldwide.

The Path of the Wise Ones Tradition has many goals for the future that will help in achieving our primary objective, so that we may best fulfill our mission of service to the Divine, our initiates and seekers, and the pagan community worldwide.

Objectives

The objectives of the Path of the Wise Ones Tradition:

  • Provide correct, factual and credible information about the history, beliefs and practices of all pagan-related subjects.

  • Provide a safe haven and a framework through which Tradition initiates and serious seekers of pagan-related knowledge can receive consistent education, support, mentoring, recognition of spiritual advancement, counseling and fellowship.

  • Provide legal ordination for those Tradition members who achieve this level of spiritual knowledge, maturity and wish to be legally ordained.

  • Provide service to the pagan community through financial stewardship, education, spiritual counseling and all other means at our disposal.

  • Become a financially viable and self-supporting organization.

Goals

The Path of the Wise Ones Tradition will best meet its objectives by achieving a myriad of short and long-term goals:

Short-Term Goals

  • To legally incorporate as non-profit religious organization in the state of Arizona.

  • To seek legal tax-exempt status (as defined by current IRS 501(c) (3) status laws).

  • To upgrade our current technological systems to meet the ever-increasing needs of our online entities and components (The Path of the Wise Ones Learning Circle website, Tradition website, etc.).

  • To generate enough income to commence and sustain our start-up and allow us to meet our short term goals.

Long -Term Goals

  • To create a stable system of income generation from a variety of sources: grants, public funding, solicitation of donations, fundraising projects and possible for-profit ventures.

  • To set up a fund devoted to the Tradition’s stewardship and philanthropic donations (to financially assist the pagan community, especially in times of crisis or natural disaster).

  • To further and develop the curriculum of the Learning Circle and to increase the number of staff members to properly accommodate the number of courses taught.

  • To oversee the development and growth of the Tradition through the creation and development of Tradition covens and circles, and the development of Elders and Priest/esses to create and lead them, as well as to develop Elder solitaries to prepare them to take on solitary leadership roles within their individual pagan communities.

  • Research and develop the ways and means to acquire the ability and right to legally ordain our members who have attained the knowledge and maturity to have this role conferred upon them.

  • To purchase property (land and buildings) on which to construct Tradition offices, learning communities, ritual spaces, gathering areas and member housing.
