Our Social Programs

The Path of the Wise Ones Tradition seeks to provide not only spiritual enlightenment and education to the Pagan community, but to also provide practical care to the community at large through various social programs and activities created to target and address needs within the Pagan community and to provide for the general welfare of Pagans in need.

Emergency Assistance -- Lives In Crisis Fund

This fund has been created to assist Pagan families experiencing life-changing hardship, due to the negative impact of a natural disaster, loss of income from the family breadwinner, and other life events which may result in a severe lessening of the quality of life for members of our Pagan community.

Medical Assistance -- Family Medical Assistance

This fund has been created to assist Pagan families who are experiencing life-changing financial hardship, due to the care of seriously and chronically ill family members. Hospital bills, the cost of care and other expenses associated with having a chronically or seriously ill family member can negatively impact a family and can threaten to tear a family apart. This fund was created to ease some of the financial burden experienced by Pagan families going through this very trying life experience.

Medical and Living Assistance -- ElderCare Assistance

This fund was created to assist the elderly in the Pagan community with medical assistance and cost associated with the log-term care of chronic illness associated with being elderly.

Food Assistance -- Harvest of the Heart Fund

This fund was created to help provide vouchers and gift certificates to Pagans in the community and their families who are in need of assistance with buying adequate food for their household through their local food and grocery stores.

HIV Education Program and Assistance Fund

This fund was created to meet the needs of those members of our community who are infected with HIV and are suffering from related diseases. We want to provide some assistance with care, and maintenance.

Hospital and Prison Ministry Chaplains
This program was developed to provide Pagan Chaplain services to prisons and hospitals for inmate and patient communites in need.

Educational Assistance

The Second Chances Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to Pagan adults to assist them with the fees associated with testing to receive their General Educational Development, or GED, diploma.

The Spirit of Youth Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to young Pagans going to college for the first time.

The New Paths Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to adult Pagan men and woman attempting to learn new skills and vocations to enter into a new field of work.

As funding and available volunteers allows, more programs will be added to our social programs roster.
